YOUTH CONFERENCE

 

Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them."

After serving their home church in Yakima, Washington as the junior high pastors, Eric and Nancei (along with their 2 children) moved down to Redding, California to attend Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.  With Eric completing his 3 years of training and Nancei in her final year, they plan to continue to love and serve future generations at every opportunity. They long to see young lives changed and transformed, to experience God's love and grace, and to see His children walk in unity and find healthy family.  

What: A youth conference that will focus on the theme of unity within the different youth ministries, and bringing together our region. Empowering young people, to impact their neighborhoods and schools. We are partnering with several dynamic guest speakers and a guest worship team to be a part of something big that God is doing in the PNW!

 

When: February 12&13th

1st session will begin at 7PM on Friday the 12th. This event will also be a lock in having the students sleep in gender specific rooms with adult leadership supervision. Finish time will be 6PM on the 13th. All meals/snacks will be provided. We will also have free time for the students to get to know each other through various fun activities!

How much: The cost of this event is $60 which includes all meals (and we want our students to eat good/nutritious food), and a snazzy long-sleeved event t-shirt. We will also be helping out financially our guest worship team and our guest speakers. To guarantee your student get's the right sized t-shirt, register before Jan. 29th.

Itinerary & Packing list

Register before Jan. 29 to guarantee your student is able to get the t-shirt size he/she wants. The itinerary below is a rough sketch of what the 24 hours will look like.
 
February 12 (Friday)
  • 6PM check-in opens
  • 7PM Event kick-off
  • 10PM free-time till midnight (games/movies/etc.)
  • 12AM lights out at the church (students in gender specfic rooms with supervision)
February 13 (Saturday)
  • 8AM breakfast opens
  • 9:15AM morning session with Nancie Lopez
  • 11AM lunch
  • 12PM afternoon session and team building activities
  • 3:30 Snack
  • 4PM Final session with Eric Lopez 
  • 6PM Parent Pick-up
 
 
Packing list
 
 
Please make sure your student has these things for the conference: Bible, notebook, pen, sleeping bag, camping pad (there will be plenty of floor space for sleeping), pillow, preferably they come in comfy clothes that they can also sleep in, deoderant, toothbrush/toothpaste, do NOT bring valuables, do NOT bring money (there's no need to bring it), no weapsons
